One of the most challenging forms to create on the wheel is a moon shaped vessel, I love the stimulating challenge, and some days there is a need in me to prove I can do it.
I then created the top, throwing a separate structured form, as if the piece was missing something essential, joining them together and then attaching the flowing forms that run around it, creating movement in the fluid flowing ripples.
